The Dance Spectrum Inc. Specialty Dance and Activewear Store is conveniently located on the lower level of the building owned by Connie Parsons School of Dance. Students of Connie Parsons School of Dance receive a 10% discount at The Dance Spectrum. Everything you need for dance is available on-site or on-line. Dress Requirements Pre-Ballet: Ballet Leotard or Dance Dress, ballet pink tights, and pink ballet slippers. Ballet: Ballet style leotard (black preferred), ballet pink tights and pink ballet slippers. Jazz/Modern: Any color or style of leotard and tights, or jazz pants with fitted top, or unitard. Black jazz shoes. Hip Hop: Jazz Sneakers, loose exercise pants, and fitted fitness top or leotard. Latin Jazz: Any color or style of leotard and tights, jazz shoes or character shoes. Dance skirts are optional. Tap: Any color or style of leotard and tights, or unitard. Dance skirts and shorts are permitted. Black tap shoes. Breakdancing: INDOOR sneakers, exercise pants, and tank top or t-shirt. Pilates: Comfortable activewear. Dance shoes optional. Please bring your own towel. Mats provided. Social(Ballroom/Latin)Dance: INDOOR shoes, comfortable street wear. No rubber soles. Please Note: Baggy T-Shirts are not appropriate dancerwear. For safety reasons, please refrain from wearing jewelry in class. Hair must be worn up neat and tidy (preferably in a bun for ballet).
