Connie Parsons School of Dance (CPSOD) was established in 1996 and assumed management of Judy Fagan School of Dancing, continuing a legacy of dance which spans over 40 years in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
CPSOD is now even BIGGER and BETTER! We have just undergone some huge renovations and expanded our current building. We will now be able to offer MORE classes, MORE programs, and MORE options for everyone.
We offer comprehensive programs in a broad range of dance styles. There is something for every level and age, beginner to experienced. At CPSOD, "it's about more than dance, it's about inspiring and motivating people to be the best they can be".
At CPSOD, our focus is to inspire a love of dance and love of learning to dance in each and every student. We encourage our students to express themselves, to gain confidence and to develop an inner discipline that will stay with them throughout their life. Our goal is to provide the highest quality dance education, while making all students feel confident about their dance skills.
Our enthusiastic, talented & dedicated staff wants to help you reach your potential and make your dance experience a positive one!
CPSOD moved to its current home at 77 Portugal Cove Road in 1999. During the summer of 2008 we have undergone some huge renovations and added a second studio to our current location. Our spacious, newly renovated and expanded building, boosts three levels of modern amenities and conveniences, including TWO beautiful bright dance studios wtih sprung floors, a specialty dancewear store, a parent/student waiting area and two large viewing windows, studio office, staff room, kitchenette, costume room and prop storage.
The Studio is a pleasure to teach in and a joy to dance in. Natural sunlight from two full walls of windows enhances the atmosphere of a positive place to learn. The studio has hardwood floors, a full size mirror, double barres, a piano and a surround sound stereo system.
Our waiting area has two large viewing windows for parents, as well as benches, children’s games, books, and a notice board to keep everyone updated.
